Dear future me,
It feels like ages since we last connected, and I wonder if a simple "Hi" or "Good day" can ever make up for the silence. Or maybe we should just drop the formalities, here and now, and reconnect with all the raw, unfiltered emotion we once shared. However it goes, I want you to know that the bond we share cannot be severed; our fates have been intertwined since the dawn of time.
You have grown into a smarter, older, and undoubtedly wiser version of me. Yet, I hope you’ll still take a moment to reflect on the words I pen now, for they are laden with the truths of our shared journey.
Now, the power to shape you is mine to harness, and I will try my best to carve a fine image of you. But I honestly don't know how skillful and strong I am or can be. So, regardless of my failure or success, never have a low perception of these words because you have another future "US" to carve, and you don't want to make the same mistakes I will make.
I've stumbled and soared, laughed and cried; every misstep and every triumph has shaped who I am. I wish I could just tell you that I've got you 100%, but sometimes I look back at my own past with deep regrets. And the thoughts that I might do things you'd look back to regret is creepy.
Regardless, when life weighs heavily on you, and when it feels like the light at the end of the tunnel is fading, please remember the times I fought to keep our aspirations alive. Do not let despair take root; instead, learn from my missteps and press forward. Our journey is far from over, and there is still so much beauty to uncover.
I know that you are well informed of the path that is hidden to me now, and the distance that I'll have to tread towards my dreams till you get this message. If it happened that I became so weary that I could not go further, please don't let the embers of my dreams vanish. Don't give in like I did, and complete this journey that I have started... for I am a vulnerable man placing my trust in your ability to discover paths I could only imagine.
I am profoundly grateful for the many souls who walked alongside me—family, friends, and mentors whose unwavering support was the wind beneath my wings, OUR WINGS. Their guidance illuminated the darkest days and enriched the brightest ones. Let their love and wisdom remind you that, while life is complex and unpredictable, its simplicity lies in these human connections and shared experiences.
As you forge ahead, continue to set new goals and celebrate every milestone, no matter how modest. Embrace change with an open heart and a courageous spirit, for life isn’t defined by a single finish line but by the mosaic of moments that shape us. Every encounter, every challenge, holds a lesson—one that has the power to transform you if you remain receptive to it.
I know you are filled with deep emotions at this point. Funny, huh? But TBH I know that I am not in the best position to admonish you on what life is, because I don't know exactly what it contains. Moreover, you have lived to experience it more than I. However, if there is one thing I am certain about, it is that we don't decide the finish line in LIFE'S RACE. Sooner or later you'll be gone, just like me. Never make the mistake of underestimating anyone you come across. As stupid as anyone can be, there is always one thing they are very good at... So, don't be stupid not to learn.
Above all, stay true to your duties and the love you owe to those who matter most. Honor your family and choose your companions wisely, for they are the architects of your character and the legacy you build. And never forget: sometimes, a single word can carry the weight of a thousand lessons.
